The Specialty Hospital at University Hospitals
Extended Care Campus (Long-Term Acute Care Hospital, or LTACH) is dedicated to the care of the
medically complex patient who requires extended hospitalization and would
benefit from an intense rehabilitation program. The Specialty Hospital is
JCAHO accredited. We have a high-observation unit and special procedures room in
addition to specialized programs to maximize each patient’s recovery,
including:
