Hospice Care at Heather Hill

a special type of caring

To allow terminally ill individuals to live as fully as possible while maintaining their dignity and providing support to their families and friends..."

This is the mission of hospice care at Heather Hill, a comprehensive program of services developed in cooperation with Harbor Light Hospice, Hospice of the Western Reserve and the Visiting Nurse Association of Cleveland.

Hospice care at Heather Hill is designed for persons whose illness no longer responds to aggressive, cure-oriented treatments, and who need pain relief and management of physical symptoms, as well as emotional and spiritual support.

Here, patients receive comfort oriented care. Individuals spend their remaining days in a pain-free manner surrounded by people who love them. Hospice care at Heather Hill blends the knowledge and compassion of trained hospice professionals with the warm, home-like setting and skilled nursing services of UHHS/Heather Hill Hospital & Health Partnership.
